Refund Policy

PestEd is committed to a fair refund process while protecting the integrity of our courses and our obligations as a Florida-registered continuing education provider. This Refund Policy describes when refunds are available and how to request one. By purchasing a course, you agree to this policy.

1. Refund Eligibility

PestEd does not offer automatic refunds on course purchases. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis as described below. To request a refund or report a billing problem, email support@pesteducation.org.

Wrong course purchased

If you purchased the wrong course and have not completed it, contact support and we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis. Where appropriate, we may issue a refund, transfer your enrollment to the correct course, or apply credit toward another PestEd course.

Duplicate purchase of the same course

If you accidentally purchased the same course twice — for example, through a double click at checkout or a second account — contact support and we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge.

No refund

Refunds are not available once any of the following has occurred:

  • You have completed any quiz attempt for the course.
  • A certificate of completion has been issued to you.

2. Technical Issues

If you experience a persistent technical issue that prevents you from completing a course you have paid for, contact support. We will work in good faith to resolve the problem. If we are unable to do so, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund or transfer your enrollment to another course of equal value.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@pesteducation.org with:

  • The email address used to enroll.
  • The name of the course.
  • The approximate date of purchase.
  • A brief reason for the refund request.

We will respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

We ask that you contact us before initiating a credit card chargeback. Most disputes can be resolved quickly through our support team. If a chargeback is filed and the charge is determined to be valid (e.g., the course was accessed or a certificate was issued), we reserve the right to suspend your account and pursue collection of the disputed amount in accordance with applicable law.

5. Continuing Education Records

If a course has been completed and a certificate issued, the underlying completion record (including the FDACS-13325 attendance form) is retained for four (4) years in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Rule 5E-14, even if a refund is issued. Refund of the purchase price does not invalidate or rescind a previously issued certificate.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the “Effective” date.
