§482.091(10) initial training packet
Florida requires new ID cardholders to complete 4 hours of initial training within 6 months of card issuance.
Most pest control companies don't know this — until FDACS asks for the records. The New Tech 4-Hour Onboarding Packet covers the full requirement in one purchase.
Pesticide safety · IPM · Applicable federal & state laws and rules

Two courses. Four CEU hours. One purchase.
Every new pest control employee ID cardholder in Florida owes a one-time 4-hour classroom training under Fla. Stat. §482.091(10). Compliance framing
Satisfies the one-time 4-hour initial classroom training required of every new employee ID cardholder in Florida pest control (pesticide safety, integrated pest management, and applicable federal/state laws and rules). The 4 hours must be completed within 6 months after the ID card is issued, or within 2 years before issuance. See Fla. Stat. §482.091(10). Certified operators in good standing are exempt.
How it works — enrolling a tech on your team
- Enter your tech's contact info and pay for the packet — one Stripe checkout, one price.
- Your new team member appears on your team dashboard the moment payment clears.
- They get a sign-in email with a link straight into the courses — they can complete lessons on their phone or laptop.
- As each course is passed, the CEU certificate and FDACS-13662 attendance form is emailed to both the tech AND you — so you have the records on file for Rule 5E-9.032.
- Both certificates together document your tech's 4-hour initial requirement.
Not sure whether you need this packet or the annual 2-hour renewal? See /technicians for the full role-based breakdown, or the CEU Requirements by Role FAQ.
