Certified operators need 2 hours of Core at every annual renewal. Limited certificate holders need 2 hours of Core in each 4-year cycle.
I'm a new technician. Does Core count for me?
Yes, toward the one-time 4-hour initial training under §482.091(10). The New Tech 4-Hour Onboarding Packet pairs Core with the technician IPM course to cover all 4 hours in one purchase.
What score do I need to pass, and can I retake the quiz?
You need 75% on the final quiz, the passing score for every Chapter 482 category under Rule 5E-14.113. Retakes are unlimited and free, and your best passing attempt is the one that counts.
How do I report the hours to FDACS?
When you pass, we email your completed FDACS-13325 Record of Attendance and save it to your dashboard. Every field is filled in from your enrollment. Upload it through the FDACS online renewal portal at aeslicensing.fdacs.gov, or mail it to FDACS with your renewal.
Can I take the course on my phone?
Yes. The course runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can start on one device and finish on another.
