Florida CEUs · Lawn & Ornamental
Florida Lawn & Ornamental (L&O) CEUs, online
Two FDACS-approved CEU hours in Lawn & Ornamental, built around Florida turfgrass weed management. $25, self-paced, with your FDACS-13325 filled in and emailed when you pass.
How many L&O hours you need
Certified operators renew every year with 2 hours of Core plus 2 hours in each category they hold (Fla. Stat. §482.111(10)), so an L&O-only operator needs 4 hours a year. Limited Lawn & Ornamental certification (§482.156) renews every 4 years and needs 4 hours across the cycle: 2 hours of Core plus 2 hours of Lawn & Ornamental.
The courses that cover it
Florida Turf Weed Management: Turfgrasses, Weed ID, and IPM-Driven Herbicide Programs
A deep-dive 2-hour CEU course on weed management in Florida turfgrasses for L&O certified operators — turfgrass species, broadleaf/grassy/sedge identification, pre- and post-emergent herbicide chemistry, and the IPM spot-treatment strategy that minimizes overspray and turf injury.
Florida Chapter 482 for Operators: Statute, PPE, and Label Safety
A 2-hour Core CEU course for Florida certified pest control operators — Chapter 482 statutory framework, Rule 5E-14 records and audits, the EPA pesticide label as the law, PPE selection by formulation, respiratory protection, spill response, and exposure-incident reporting.
Who this course is for
Florida certified operators (JF) who hold the Lawn & Ornamental category, and Limited Lawn & Ornamental (LL) certificate holders. For LL holders, the FDACS-13325 marks the hours under both Commercial Lawn & Ornamental and Limited Lawn & Ornamental.

Frequently asked questions
I hold a Limited Lawn & Ornamental certificate. Does this count?
Yes. The course is approved for Lawn & Ornamental hours, and for Limited Lawn & Ornamental holders the FDACS-13325 records the hours under both Commercial Lawn & Ornamental and Limited Lawn & Ornamental. Pair it with the Core course for the full 4 hours your 4-year cycle requires.
Is this the same as the Limited Urban Fertilizer requirement?
No. Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator certification (§482.1562) is a separate credential with its own category hours. See the Limited Urban Fertilizer CEU page.
What score do I need to pass, and can I retake the quiz?
You need 75% on the final quiz, the passing score for every Chapter 482 category under Rule 5E-14.113. Retakes are unlimited and free, and your best passing attempt is the one that counts.
How do I report the hours to FDACS?
When you pass, we email your completed FDACS-13325 Record of Attendance and save it to your dashboard. Every field is filled in from your enrollment. Upload it through the FDACS online renewal portal at aeslicensing.fdacs.gov, or mail it to FDACS with your renewal.
Can I take the course on my phone?
Yes. The course runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can start on one device and finish on another.
