Florida General Household Pest (GHP) CEUs, online
Two FDACS-approved CEU hours in the General Household Pest category, self-paced on any device. $25, with your FDACS-13325 attendance form filled in and emailed the moment you pass.
What a GHP certified operator needs each year
Under Fla. Stat. §482.111(10), a certified operator renews every year with 2 hours of Core plus 2 hours in each category on the certificate. If General Household Pest is your only category, that is 4 hours: this 2-hour GHP course plus the 2-hour Core course. Your renewal is due on the anniversary of your certificate's issue date (ch. 2024-137, effective July 1, 2024).
The courses that cover it
Cockroach Mastery: Florida Species, Biology, Inspection & Treatment
A deep-dive 2-hour CEU course on cockroach control for Florida certified operators — biology, lifecycle, all seven Florida species, professional inspection, IPM strategy, and the modern bait-and-IGR product toolbox.
Florida Chapter 482 for Operators: Statute, PPE, and Label Safety
A 2-hour Core CEU course for Florida certified pest control operators — Chapter 482 statutory framework, Rule 5E-14 records and audits, the EPA pesticide label as the law, PPE selection by formulation, respiratory protection, spill response, and exposure-incident reporting.
Who this course is for
Florida certified operators (JF) who hold the General Household Pest category and need their annual category hours. If you hold more than one category, you need 2 hours in each, so pair this course with the matching course for every other category on your certificate.
ID cardholders (technicians) follow a different requirement under §482.091(10). See the technician training page for what they need.
What the GHP course covers
Cockroach Mastery goes deep on one pest group instead of skimming many. It covers cockroach biology and lifecycle, identification and habits of the cockroach species found in Florida, professional inspection and sanitation, building an IPM program, and the bait, IGR, and insecticide options with resistance management.

Frequently asked questions
Does this course count toward my GHP renewal?
Yes. It is approved by FDACS for 2 CEU hours in the General Household Pest category, and the FDACS-13325 we email you records those hours under Commercial General Household Pest Control.
Do I also need Core hours?
Yes. Every certified operator renewal includes 2 hours of Core in addition to the category hours, per Fla. Stat. §482.111(10). Our Core course covers Chapter 482, Rule 5E-14 records, the pesticide label, and PPE.
What score do I need to pass, and can I retake the quiz?
You need 75% on the final quiz, the passing score for every Chapter 482 category under Rule 5E-14.113. Retakes are unlimited and free, and your best passing attempt is the one that counts.
How do I report the hours to FDACS?
When you pass, we email your completed FDACS-13325 Record of Attendance and save it to your dashboard. Every field is filled in from your enrollment. Upload it through the FDACS online renewal portal at aeslicensing.fdacs.gov, or mail it to FDACS with your renewal.
Can I take the course on my phone?
Yes. The course runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can start on one device and finish on another.
